(Guelph ON - November 2, 2009) GJA communications is one step closer to winning another Best of CAMA award. The Canadian Agri-Marketing Association announced their 2009 finalists and GJA is shortlisted in the Best Web Design category for their work on www.OutdoorFarmShow.com.
The Canada's Outdoor Farm Show web site delivers agriculture information in a variety of formats, including news feeds, media releases, general program updates and online videos. The popular Farm Show TV videos generated impressive web traffic, and were promoted by social networking feeds such as del.icio.us, StumbleUpon, and Digg.
COFS also promoted the web site through direct email blasts that communicated the news updates which played a major roll in driving traffic to the web site.
"In terms of trade-show web sites we feel it's very progressive," said Lorie Jocius, President of Canada's Outdoor Farm Show. "We worked hard with GJA to ensure the content was relevant and current, and judging by the web stats our online visitors keep coming back."
The web site attracted 29,433 visits over the month of September 2009 which is a 36% increase over last years visits.
GJA communications President, Frances Marciniak, was thrilled. "Our goal was to modernize www.OutdoorFarmShow.com, communicate the message that Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show is a continuously evolving tradeshow showcasing the latest in agricultural technologies, and of course increase online visits."
The results of the Best of CAMA awards will be announced at the Sheraton Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls on Thursday, November 5, 2009.
